Child’s Eye Media win best multi-media resource award
Child’s Eye Media were delighted to receive the 2009 Practical Pre-School Overall Winner’s Gold Award for best multi-media resource, for their two series, People who help us and People who help us 2. In the series, young children find out about the work of grown-ups. The Award was presented, on September 18th, at the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology.
The Practical Pre-School Award testers said:
‘Excellent resources for both teacher and child which fit in well with the early years curriculum. Very good to stimulate children before role play, particularly if they have never had real life experiences of these roles. The films inspired the children and this prompted discussion with appropriate vocabulary, and for older children, imaginative writing. The children kept requesting to watch the DVDs. One to use again and again. An invaluable resource for any busy teacher and a great addition to any DVD library!’
